MARKO POPOVIC (born 1978) is Serbian author and screenwriter. He graduated at Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade and studied 6 months directing course at New York Film Academy. He is the author of crime novel One false step (2016), TV series The only way out and The Secret of wine and couple of short movies that won prizes in Serbia and abroad. He worked as screenwriter for various TV series and as copywriter for advertising agencies
Stelios Kraounakis was born in Crete, Greece, in 1969. He has studied Finance and Environmental Studies. He has directed short films and documentaries. For many years he has worked for the University of Aegean. Since 2018 he is the Head of Financing Programs Development Department, Investment Incentives & Financing Directorate of ΕΚΟΜΕ, which oversees the Cash Rebate and Tax Relief Programs.
Angelika Papanikolaou is a contemporary repertory musician and composer hors pair. She studied in Ioannina and Athens Music Conservatories in Germany (Ηοchschule für Musik und Theater Hannover, Carslrue Music Academy) and took part in numerous seminars and masterclasses in Spain, Poland, Italy, Greece. Angelika Papanikolaou collaborated with Arvo Pärt, Tierry Huillet and Mauricio Kagel. She is german language and literature bachelor and music teacher and writer for children theater plays.
Yannnis Galitis, young talented composer, guitarist, studied music composition at the National Music Conservatory of Athens. Since 2002 he is composing contemporary repertory music for chamber & guitar orchestras and theater plays. Many of his works were recorded and broadcasted by greek public television and played during greek and foreign festivals. He was a long time music teacher in several athenian high schools and since 2014 he is directing the Music Festival, the Municipal Choir and the local Music Conservatory of Konitsa City. He is the cofounder of the greek Guitarte Ensemble.

After graduating civil engineering in Bucharest, Bogdan Hrib embarked on a varied career encompassing the professions of photographer, journalist (from 1991), advertising agency director (1992) and book editor (from 1993). From 2008, Bogdan has been the editorial director of Crime Scene Publishing in Bucharest. He is also the vice-president of the Romanian Crime Writers Club (from 2010), and served as editorial counsellor of Flacăra Magazine (2010-12). He is the director/organiser of the Mystery & Thriller Festival in Râșnov (2011-12), as well as the PR coordinator of the History Film Festival in Râșnov (from 2011).
Vassilis Danelis was born in 1982 in Athens, where he was raised and where he attended University. Since 2009 he has divided his time between Athens and Istanbul, but for many years also travelled, roaming from Ellroy’s Los Angeles, Lawrence Block’s new York and Taibo’s Mexico City to Izzo’s Marseille, Montalban’s Barcelona and numerous other cities with a noir element. He has always believed that Athens is equally, if not more, dark and mysterious. “Black Beer” is his first attempt to explain why he feels so.
Yannis Ragos was born in Athens, Greece, in 1966. Author and journalist. He has published four books, among them crime novels and short crime stories He has also written television and film scripts. His is in charge of the crime fiction series “Verba Obscura” of Indiktos Publications. Founding member of the Greek Crime Writers Club and member of the International Association of Crime Writers (IACW).
